Midhun's grieving grandmother shifted to hospital as her health deteriorates

KOLLAM: The mortal remains of Midhun, who died of electrocution in his school premises on Thursday, was brought to his residence in Vilanthara for performing the final rites. Meanwhile, Midhun’s grandmother, Maniamma, who collapsed upon hearing the tragic news, was shifted to the hospital after her health worsened.

Despite her relatives' insistence, Maniamma hasn't consumed any food or water in the past two days. She was shifted to the hospital by her relatives after her health deteriorated on Saturday at noon.

Midhun’s funeral will be held this evening. His mother, Suja, a home nurse abroad, returned home to pay her last respects to her beloved son. She arrived at Nedumbassery airport on Saturday morning and is now on her way to Kollam.
