THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:SFI leader Avishith, who is accused in Rahul Gandhi office vandalism case, has been sacked from the personal staff of Health Minister Veena George with retrospective effect. The Public Administration Department has issued an order regarding this today. Avishith has also been instructed to return his belongings including the ID card.

Following the attack on the MP's office, the minister's office issued a letter asking for Avishith's removal. The reason given was that Avishith had not been present in the office for a long time.

Avishith has been expelled with retrospective effect from June 15. When asked after the incident, Minister Veena George said Avishith had not been coming to the office regularly since the beginning of this month. The minister said that he was present on some days till June 15 and that's why they had written to the Public Administration Department to expel Avishith from that date.
