Office of Ganesh Kumar MLA comes under attack, one hacked

KOLLAM: The office of K B Ganesh Kumar MLA was attacked Friday morning. A party activist was hacked. The attacker, who tried to escape, was caught by the office workers and handed over to the police. Party activist Biju sustained hack injuries. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Pathanapuram.

A man from the locality attacked the office at 6 am this morning. The man came running and hacked Biju, who was standing at the door. He sustained injuries in his hand. Other employees in the office, along with Biju and locals, caught the attacker and handed him over to the police immediately.

The attacker is a mentally disturbed man. He was subjected for a medical examination. A team led by Pathanapuram circle inspector has started an investigation. The police said no political motive is behind the incident.
