One killed, many injured as KSRTC bus falls into gorge in Idukki

IDUKKI: One person died after a KSRTC bus overturned at Neriamangalam. The victim has been identified has Sajeev of Adimali Kudamankuzhi. The bus fell into the gorge after the tyre bursts while giving side. Many including the driver and conductor were injured in the accident. Reports said the condition of many is critical.

The injured has been admitted to Kothamangalam Hospital. The bus from Munnar to Ernakulam overturned at 5 in the morning. There were about 60 passengers in the bus. Rescue operations were carried out by the police, fire brigade and locals.
