THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan demanded an immediate decision on relaxing lockdown restrictions and directed to study and submit a report within Wednesday. The CM directed the Chief Secretary and the expert committee to hold immediate discussions with people from various walks of life.
During the review meeting, the Chief Minister was angry that the disease had not abated despite the lockdown. Officials' suggestions are not practical and people have difficulties. The Chief Minister suggested that there should be instructions to prevent the spread of the disease. The CM asked whether the regulation on TPR basis should continue. He also suggested that other scientific methods in restrictions be examined.
