THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Jayachandran, the father of an eight-year-old girl, said that DGP Anil Kant had directly apologized in connection with the public harassment of the Pink Police in Attingal. He also told the media that he had asked the DGP to implement the court order immediately.

However, the DGP's office said that the DGP had not apologized for the incident and that Jayachandran and his eight-year-old daughter could not meet the DGP at the police headquarters. It was widely reported that the DGP apologized when Jayachandran and his eight-year-old daughter arrived in Thiruvananthapuram this afternoon to meet the DGP. They came to see the DGP with a demand to implement the court order immediately. They also demanded that action be taken against the officer who harassed them.
