Renewed vaccination certificate for NRIs from tomorrow; batch number and date will be added, says Health Minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister Veena George has said that the batch number of the vaccine and date of vaccination will be added to the vaccination certificate issued to those going abroad. The government decided to add these details after some foreign countries required that the date of vaccination and the batch number of the vaccine must be mentioned in the vaccination certificate. For this, an update is being conducted on the eHealth portal. A new certificate with batch number and date will be issued from the next day. The minister also said those who had taken the certificate earlier and needed the batch number and date would be given a new certificate.
