THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Students Federation (KSU) announced a state-wide education bandh on Tuesday alleging that the SFI is destroying the higher education sector in Kerala. KSU announced the education bandh citing various issues, including the fake certificate of SFI leader Nikhil Thomas.

KSU state president Aloysius Xavier said that SFI has become a camp of fraudsters and that SFI is ruining the higher education sector in Kerala. Aloysius Xavier also asked the government to break its silence on the issues that have come up.

Meanwhile. SFI leader Nikhil Thomas has been suspended in fake degree controversy. Kayamkulam MSM College Principal Dr. Mohammad Thaha said that legal action will be taken against Nikhil.
