Should remove Saji Cheriyan from the cabinet; BJP files complaint to the Governor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP has lodged a complaint with the Governor against Minister of Fisheries and Culture Saji Cheriyan over his controversial remarks criticizing the Constitution. A BJP team led by former state president Kummanam Rajasekharan reached the Raj Bhavan and lodged a complaint with Governor Arif Muhammad Khan.

BJP demands that Saji Cheriyan, who questioned the essence of the constitution, should be removed from the cabinet. Other political parties also criticized Saji Cheriyan. KPCC General Secretary Pazhakulam Madhu filed a complaint to the Governor demanding to remove Saji Cheriyan from the ministry. KPCC General Secretary KP Sreekumar also filed a complaint with the Pathanamthitta District Police Chief demanding that a case be filed against the minister.
