Special casual leave of govt employees on Covid contact list cancelled

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Chief Secretary has issued an order cancelling the special casual leave granted to government employees who are on the contact list of Covid patients.

The order states that those in contact with patients should report the matter to the workplace and monitor themselves and maintain social distancing. The Chief Secretary said in the order that those with symptoms should take necessary action as per the directions of the Health Department.
