Stayed for only five months, Rs 13 lakh spent on refurbishing official residence of E P Jayarajan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Although E P Jayarajan, the industries minister in the first Pinarayi government, stayed in the official residence for only five months, an amount of Rs 13,18,937 was spent to refurbish the building.

According to the RTI released in 2018, ministers G Sudhakaran (33,000) and C Raveendranath (39,351) spent only a small amount to renovate their residences. In two years, an amount of nearly Rs 83 lakh was spent for the renovation of the buildings.
