Three of family dies of Covid in nine days

VAZHAKKAD: Three members of a family, including parents and son, died of Covid within nine days. Limesh (38) and his parents Ramar (85) and Leela (70) from Vazhakkad panchayath died. Limesh died on April 28 while undergoing Covid treatment. Ramar died on April 30 while undergoing treatment. Leela, who was confirmed with Covid, died yesterday. The source of Limesh's infection, who was an auto driver, is not clear.

Limesh and Ramar died at a private hospital in Perinthalmanna and Leela at Manjeri Medical College. Health officials and locals are concerned over their death.

Limesh's wife and children had tested positive for the virus but has now turned negative.
