Travancore Devaswom to help needy students, will distribute smartphones for online learning

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The era of online education started in Kerala since Covid wreaked havoc. However, a large number of children in the state are yet to get access to online education. Now, the Travancore Devaswom Board has come to the aid of such children. The Devaswom Board has decided to distribute smartphones to needy students who are studying in the schools under the board.

Devaswom Minister K Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the distribution of smartphones on Wednesday. The inauguration ceremony will be held at 12 noon at Sumangali Wedding Hall, Nandankode, Thiruvananthapuram. Devaswom Board President Adv N Vasu will preside over the function, which will be attended by Devaswom Board members Adv KS Ravi and PM Thankappan.
