Youth found hanging in front of ASI’s house in Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA: A youth committed suicide in front of the house of an assistant sub inspector (ASI). The body was found in a shed attached to the house of grade SI Suresh Kumar of Chepad. Suresh Kumar is grade SI of Muthukulam Kanakakunnu Station. The dead is Sooraj (24), a resident of Valiyaparambu Attuvathala in Thrikunnapuzha. It is suspected to be a case of suicide.

Sooraj was a classmate of ASI's daughter. He had reached Kumar house at 10 pm last night. Only Suresh Kumar's wife and children were at home. A verbal dispute broke out between them and Sooraj. They had sent him away. When they woke up in the morning, found him hanging. His bike was also found near the house. The police have registered a case of unnatural death.
