Actress and producer Sandra Thomas asked film organizations to clarify their stand in the wake of the release of the Hema Committee report. For whom are the organizations keeping silent even after the whole Kerala have discussed it, she asked via a Facebook post.

‘Film organizations should clarify their stand. For whom are all the organizations keeping silent on the Hema committee report which is being discussed all over Kerala? It means that all organizations are suspected of being dominated by the 15-member power group mentioned in the committee report. It is relevant here that the competitive commission has mentioned about such a power group years ago. Everyone, including you, know that it doesn't take a week to study the report.

Malayalam cinema, which has given many talents to the world cinema, is being ridiculed in front of the general society, all the film organizations have a role in this situation, if we do not clarify our stand, the public will throw stones at us. Based on the committee report, what remedial measures are being taken by these organizations should be clarified in the public forum', Sandra wrote in the Facebook post.
