BJP national executive committee reconstituted, Muraleedharan and Kummanam in panel, Sobha Surendran and Kannamthanam omitted

NEW DELHI: BJP president J P Nadda on Thursday reconstituted the party's national executive committee. Union Minister V Muraleedharan and Kummanam Rajasekharan from Kerala have been included in the committee. Apart from this, P K Krishnadas and Metroman E Sreedharan will attend the panel meetings as special invitees. However, Sobha Surendran and Alphonse Kannanthanam have not been included in the panel. O Rajagopal's name is also not in the list.

A P Abdullakutty will continue as the vice president and Tom Vadakkan as the spokesperson. Tejaswi Surya will continue as the national president of Yuva Morcha. There are 80 members in the national executive committee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior leaders L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal are members of the executive committee. There are 50 special invitees and 179 permanent invitees in the national panel. There are 26 national spokespersons.
