THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP District President V V Rajesh has asked the state government to reduce petrol and diesel prices by considering Central government's decision as an example. He was inaugurating the secretariat march organized by the BJP district committee. When other states reduced tariffs on petrol and diesel twice to control inflation, Kerala took the opposite stance.

The Pinarayi government has appointed a person who does not even know how to calculate as the Finance Minister. The state government and the finance minister meets the media to say that the Centre is not allowing to borrow. In the march, BJP leaders also accused the state government of failing to reduce fuel tariffs and thereby reducing the tax burden on 3.5 crore people.
