Congress continues reconciliation effort; VD Satheesan and K Sudhakaran will meet Samastha leaders

KOZHIKODE: Congress party is continuing its reconciliation efforts in connection with the narcotic jihad controversy. KPCC President K Sudhakaran and Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan will meet Samastha leaders today.

The meeting will be held at 11 am under the leadership of Samastha president Jifri Muthukkoya Thangal and secretary Ali Kutty Musliyar. Samastha's rights protection committee will also convene a meeting in Kozhikode today. The meeting will discuss further steps to be taken on the Pala issue.

The Congress leaders had been meeting religious and community leaders for the past few days as part of efforts to strengthen religious harmony. The meeting with Samastha leaders is also a part of this. VD Satheesan is at Kozhikode Guest House. Sudhakaran will soon reach Kozhikode.
