THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With no hope of a comeback in Bengal and Tripura in the near future, the CPM is looking to win maximum seats from Kerala in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Organizational preparations for the elections will begin soon.

Party ministers have been appointed in charge of Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. It is the party's suggestion that the in-charge ministers should attend the various constituency committee meetings held after the Onam celebrations. It is the responsibility of the ministers to understand the popular issues of each constituency and undertake activities.

Before MV Govindan became the state secretary, the decision regarding the duties of the ministers was taken in the state leadership meetings. With MV Govindan stepping down as minister, there will be a change in the responsibilities of constituencies in Malabar. New minister MB Rajesh will also be given the charge.
