Police will soon capture the person who circulated obscene visuals of LDF candidate Jo Joseph

KOCHI: Although Thrikkakara by-election is happening today, the police are still investigating the incident regarding spreading of obsecene videos of LDF candidate Jo Joseph. In addition to taking action to prevent its circulation, they have also sought the help of social media, including Facebook. The report will be submitted by Facebook in 15 to 30 days. The police need to find out who posted the video first, who paid for it, and how many downloaded it. Four people have been arrested so far. Thrikkakara police are investigating the case following a complaint lodged by M Swaraj.

The offense is punishable by up to three years in prison. If repeated, the subsequent sentence will be five years, with a different penalty. The accused in Thrikkakara visuals case has been convicted and suspended from service.
