PALAKKAD: Minister K B Ganesh Kumar has spoken out against those who once targeted him in Kerala politics, noting that many of his past critics are no longer active in the political scene. Speaking at a program at Universal College, presided over by P K Shashi, the minister reflected on the current political climate, criticizing the trend of vilifying those who engage in positive work. Ganesh Kumar himself has faced such attacks, he said.
During his speech, Minister Ganesh Kumar took a moment to commend P K Shashi, describing him as someone who has consistently helped others, regardless of political affiliations, whether or not he held the position of MLA. The minister dismissed the recent allegations against Shashi as baseless, asserting that these are part of a broader effort to tarnish his reputation. Ganesh Kumar expressed confidence that the truth would ultimately prevail.
Ganesh Kumar's words
"Those who tried to destroy me in 2013 are no longer part of Kerala politics. I won’t name anyone, but the four or five people who attacked me have been wiped off the political map. Those who engage in falsehood will face the consequences, while those who stand with the truth will shine. The truth may seem unclear at first, but it only grows brighter as time goes on.
I am a true believer, not someone driven by caste-based thinking. My faith is in the truth. It is unjust to pursue frivolous cases when good is being done in the country. Those who spread baseless accusations have nothing to lose, but society as a whole does.
Accusers may claim to have evidence, but paper documents and lies should not be the basis for judgment. P K Shashi is a good man and the best chairman KTDC has seen in recent times. There are efforts to undermine his work, but they will not succeed."
