Complaint raised by AISF leader is serious one, how is the government planning to ensure women's safety in Kerala: VD Satheesan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan has reacted to the incident where an AISF woman leader was threatened and physically assaulted by SFI leaders during the MG University senate elections.

"The complaint raised by the AISF leader is a serious one. She was physically assaulted. The SFI leaders even threatened to rape her. What is the police doing in the state? Are they here only to protect the party workers? How is the government planning to ensure women's safety in the state?" he said.
