Facing trouble charging your EV at places without charging stations? This idea will make sure you never run out of charge

ev

Many people opted to move to electric cars as the price of petrol rose sharply. But the lack of charging stations still deters people from buying electric cars. Going on long journeys, trips to high altitudes and off-roads might lead to discharge. But as a quick solution to this problem, a Malayali is proving that an electric car can be charged using a petrol generator. A video regarding this has been posted by Cinto Antony on his YouTube channel.

He started off on a trip hill station Vagamon using Tata Tigor Electric after charging the car up to 84 percent. By the time they reached their destination, the car had only 26 percent of its charge left. There are no charging stations at Vagamon.

To overcome this, the charged the electric car using a petrol generator. The generator was run for about an hour to charge the car up to 36 percent, which is a 10 percent increase in charge. The vlogger explains how to use the generator in this 'do-it-yourself' video.
