KCBC announces holiday for educational institutions on Sunday, govt directive to be implemented on another day

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Catholic Bishops Council (KCBC) announced a holiday for educational institutions on Sunday. Exams related to faith training are held on Sunday in dioceses. Students and teachers should also attend the rituals held. The holiday was announced for Catholic educational institutions for this reason.

The government had earlier directed teachers and students to organize an anti-drug awareness programme in schools on Gandhi Jayanti. KCBC said they will comply with the government's directive and organize the programme on another day.
