Recurring incidents of car fire in the state; Maruti alto charred in Kochi

KOCHI: In back-to-back incidents, another car in Kochi caught fire while on its run on a busy road. The incident happened near Kuruppampady at 4;30 pm. Eldhose, who was driving alone saw smoke emanating from his Maruti Alto car which left him with no second thoughts but to jump out of the vehicle immediately. The fire force reached the spot to douse the fire but the car got charred completely by the time. After the drastic death of a couple in Kannur, another car fire incident happened yesterday in the capital city which saw the driver escaping death just by margins.
