Dont test our patience: Court warns government on flex issues

flex-issue

KOCHI: The Kerala high court has lashed out at the government for not taking the necessary steps to remove the illegally placed flex and banners in public places. In a snide one, the court asked the government whether they intend to take action or not. The increased number of flexes and banners has incensed the court to give an opprobrium to the government to not test the limits of patience.

The high banners and flex loosely tilted near public places serve as a threat to many commuters and travelers alike. Earlier, the corporation secretaries were called by the court to take action but nothing productive happened. Ninety percent of the boards are from Government agencies with the head of the Chief Minister and the politicians. If such is the precedent made, then normal people and other organizations will also join the bandwagon to flood the city with flex boards. In response, the corporaion secretary has informed the court that the flexes boards were once removed but were quickly filled with new ones.
