THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Youth League leader P K Firoz arrested in the Secretariat March that had turned violent, has been granted bail. The Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First-Class Magistrate Court granted him conditional bail. Firoz and others were arrested after the Muslim Youth League's march against the anti-people policies of the state government turned violent. Firoz is the first accused in the case.
The youth league march was on January 18. Firoz was arrested on charges of holding a jatha, assaulting the police and destruction of private property. Firoz was shifted to Poojapura jail after remanded for 14-days.
