KOZHIKODE: NIT Kozhikode has issued circular banning students to distance themselves from public displays of affection. Students dean Dr. DK Rajnikanth issued this unusual circular that has ignited a storm in social media. The circular says such acts in public view have disturbed many onlookers, students and staff, alike. Those who breach the newly wielded circular will face disciplinary actions, the dean warned.
The new circular has meanwhile irked the student community who view this as a pure intrusion into their private space and dignity. This decision comes at a time when the Animal Husabnadry Board has urged all citizens to practice embracing cows during valentines day. The odd decision was intended to revive the lost practice of Indic culture among people.
