Fire breaks out at coffin shop in Pathanamthitta; major tragedy averted

PATHANAMTHITTA: Fire broke out at a coffin shop in Adoor. Fire force personnel arrived on spot and extinguished the fire. The incident happened on Saturday morning.

The fire broke out near the electricity meter inside the shop. Initial assessment is that short circuit is the cause of accident. Being a coffin shop, a lot of wood was stored inside. The wood suddenly caught fire. As soon as the incident took place, the fire brigade arrived and extinguished the fire, averting a major accident.
