Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad after Bharat Jodo Yatra, to visit house of Thomas killed in tiger attack

WAYANAD: Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi reached the constituency yesterday for the first time after the end of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul reached Kozhikode airport at 9 pm and from there reached Kalpetta PWD guest house. Rahul received a grand reception at the airport yesterday. After participating many programmes in the constituency today, he will return to Delhi at night.

Rahul will handover the keys of the houses built under the Kaithangu project to the beneficiaries. He will attend the review meeting of central projects, aspirational district programme review meeting, district electricity committee meeting. He will visit the family members of Thomas Pallipurath, a farmer killed by a tiger.

Rahul Gandhi will participate in the general meeting organized at Meenangadi Panchayat Stadium at 3.30 pm. AICC general secretaries K C Venugopal, Tariq Anwar, KPCC president K Sudhakaran, opposition leader V D Satheesan, KPCC Working President T Siddique MLA and others will participate. He will return to Delhi at 8.50 pm from Karipur.
