22-year-old Malappuram woman stayed in TN for three months in search of her lover; police brings her back to husband

CHENNAI: The police found 22-year-old woman from Malappuram who came to Tamil Nadu in search of her boyfriend whom she met through social media. The woman came to Vedasandur in Dindigul city three month ago to find her boyfriend.

The woman met the man through Instagram, while she was staying in her own house after marriage. He introduced himself as a manager at a spinning mill in Dindigul. But even after reaching Dindigul, she could not find her lover. Then she stayed with another woman whom she met there and continued to search for him. Later, the woman learnt that her boyfriend was married and a construction worker in Kerala. Meanwhile, her husband filed a missing complaint.

The police started the investigation and sent the photo of the woman to Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Tamil Nadu police identified the woman yesterday when she sought treatment at the Vedasandur hospital and informed the Kerala police. Then the police arrived and sent the woman to Kerala with her husband.
