Cricketer Prithvi Shaw endures late night 'fan' brawl; social media influencer arrested

NEW DELHI: The Oshiwara police made one arrest In the late-night brawl involving Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw. Sapna Gill has been arrested on charges of attacking Prithvi Shaw. The incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday when the fan moment escalated to a nightmare after the Indian cricketer restricted a group from taking selfies. The arrested Sapna is a social media influencer and she has accused the cricketer of abusing her first.

Mr shaw along with his friend was in an opulent Santa Cruz restaurant. He accepted the many selfies asked for inside the hotel. But things turned awry after a group started sticking to him breaking his privacy. Shaw alerted the securities who ousted the group from the hotel. What waited for Shaw outside the hotel was stalking and threat that slowly metamorphosed into physical exchanges. Shaw was quick to flee the place but the group tracked him and damaged the windshield of his car. The group also ransomed Rs 50000 from Shaw about complaining the same to the police. The police meanwhile have registered cases against 8 people present in the brawl.
