IRITTY: Police have formed special squads to find Akash Thillenkeri and two others who are absconding after the police booked them under a non-bailable section for allegedly insulting womanhood through social media. Two squads have been formed under the leadership of Muzhakkunnu CI Rajeesh and Mattannur CI M Krishnan.

The police registered the case against Akash, his colleagues Jijo and Jayaprakash on the complaint given by the wife of minister MB Rajesh's personal staff. Although the police conducted inspections at Akash's home in Thillenkeri the other day, they were not able to find him. All three have gone into hiding. They have started efforts to obtain anticipatory bail. The mobile phones of the three people are also switched off. As per the complaint, Akash Thillenkeri and others insulted the complainant on Facebook after she criticised Akash during the meeting of DYFI.
