KOCHI: The custody period of M Sivasankar, the former principal secretary of the Chief Minister, who was arrested in the Life Mission corruption case, will end on Monday. ED may ask for an extension of his custody after producing him in court. Sources close to ED said that they have received information regarding the role of Sivasankar in the case. However, Sivasankar is not cooperating much with the interrogation.
ED officials had quizzed Sivasankar along with his Chartered Accountant Venugopal and Life Mission's ex-CEO UV Jose. The ED officials said that they have obtained information from them about Sivasankar's role. These matters will be reported to the court toon Monday.
