Journalist shot dead while reporting murder; two seriously injured

FLORIDA: A journalist was shot dead while reporting on murder. 9-year-old girl also died in the shoting.The incident happened in the Orlando area. The journalist was shot when he came to report another murder in the same place. Keith Melvin Moses (19), who is suspected to be the accused, was taken into custody by the police.

Foreign media reports that the journalist was working for Florida's Spectrum News 13 channel. It is also reported that the mother of the dead girl and another journalist were seriously injured in the firing.

White House Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre tweeted her condolences to the family of the slain Spectrum News 13 reporter. Officials said the reason of the shooting was not yet clear. The police informed that the detained person is being interrogated.
