Japanese flight with over 300 passengers sent back to starting point after seven-hour nightmare

japanese-flight-

TOKYO: A Japanese domestic flight made passengers supposed to be on the plane for just two hours, go around for seven hours. The incident took place on Japan Airlines flight JL 331 from Tokyo's Funeda Airport to Fukuoka.

The flight, which had more than 300 passengers, took off 90 minutes late. Strong winds in the area in the morning caused the schedule of other flights to the city to change. Due to this, the plane was denied permission to land. The plane then decided to land in the nearby city of Kitakyushu. However, that plan also had to be abandoned as there was no bus facility for passengers to reach Fukuoka from there. The plane later diverted to Kansai International Airport near Osaka, 450 km away and landed at 11 pm.

However, there were no buses or accommodation available for such a large number of passengers. With this, the next morning the plane flew back to Tokyo. After hours, the flight returned to the place from where it started.
