NEW DELHI: People busy digging my grave are the ones who are plunged down into the abyss of disappointment, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a rejoinder back at congress for its earlier made burial comment. “Whenever the congress makes abuse against me, the people voice back about the lotus blooming in their place,” the Prime minister said while addressing a crowd in Meghalaya.

PM Modi was in full-on attack mode against congress with sly statements at the rally. He said that Meghalaya deserves a government not giving priority to a particular family but to the masses. He also assured about the inclusiveness of the BJP and said that his party acts for the benefit of people devoid of religion. The examples of the Kerala nurses and Father Premkumar saved from the Taliban were mentioned. BJP has allotted five times the budget for the tribals sections in Meghalaya than any previous congress governments did, PM commented. PM Modi touched the capital Shillong to boost the campaigning of his party that looks to defend power in the northern state.

The congress came with Modi’s burial comment after top leader Pawan Khera was detained from a flight after he abused Narendra Modi's father in one fiery speech.
