Sharp rise in price of cooking gas; domestic cylinders hiked by Rs 50 and commercial by Rs 351

NEW DELHI: The price of cooking gas has been increased again in the country. There is a hike of Rs 50 for domestic cylinder. With this, in Kochi, the price of a domestic cylinder will be Rs 1,110. In other districts, the price will be slightly different.

The price of a commercial cylinder will be Rs 2124 after a hike of Rs 351. The price of a commercial cylinder earlier was Rs 1773. The revised price came into effect on Wednesday.

This is the second hike in commercial LPG cylinder prices this year. The price of commercial LPG cylinders was increased by Rs 25 on January 1.
