Middle-aged man arrested for threatening to attack Chief Minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Balu (51), a native of Charachira and an auto driver, was arrested by the museum police after threatening to attack the Chief Minister. He made the threat for blocking vehicles at Cliff House Road and Nanthancode as part of the Chief Minister's security and asked whether the public should stay inside for CM's security. He threatened to attack the Chief Minister no matter what kind of security is provided.

The call was made to police control room's number 112 at 11:30 on Thursday night. He was located and arrested with the help of cyber police and later released on station bail. The police said that he had threatened many people on the phone under the influence of alcohol.
