Case filed against 31-year-old woman who had baby with 13-year-old boy

WASHINGTON: The police registered a case against a 31-year-old woman who got pregnant with a 13-year-old boy. The incident took place in Colorado, USA. A woman named Andrea Serrano was arrested based on sexual assault charges. She gave birth to a baby boy.

But Andrea was spared jail time after she pleaded not to be considered a sex offender. But the 13-year-old's mother came forward to express her disagreement with the verdict. She alleged that her son lost his childhood. “I feel like if she was a man and he was a little girl, it would definitely be different. They would be seeking more. I feel like because he is not a woman, they are not. They are having compassion for her,” the victim’s mother said. The 13-year-old's parents are trying to appeal against the court's decision.
