19-year-old boy arrested for sexually abusing girl whom he met during Kalolsavam

KOLLAM: A 19-year-old boy was arrested for sexually abusing a minor girl. The arrested is Noufal (19) of Karunagapally.

Noufal met the girl during the last Kalolsavam. He barged into the girl’s house in last January when her parents were not at home and sexually abused her.

He also threatened her not to reveal the information. It came to light when she was subjected for counselling in the school. As per the instructions of her parents, she gave a statement to the Karunagappally police.
