Husband builds Rs 7 crore temple in 1.5 acres to fulfill wife’s wish

HYDERABAD: In Telangana, a businessman built a temple in the village at a cost of Rs 7 crore to fulfill his wife's wish. The temple was built by Khetrabashi Lenka (62) and his wife Baijayanthi Lenka (56), who are permanent residents of Hyderabad. Born in Chikna village under Binjarapur block, Baijayanti was a devotee of the goddess since childhood. She wanted to build a temple in the village. Following this, Baijayanthi's husband started building a temple in his wife's village on one and a half acres of land.

The temple was built in South Indian architectural style at a cost of 7 crores. The construction was fully supervised by his wife. She spent a long time there. Idols like Shiva, Ganesh, Hanuman and Navagrahas are also worshiped in the temple. The couple's children are software engineer and doctor. Both are very happy with their parents' work. The villagers are also very happy to get the new temple.
