Woman, son burnt to death in Kollam

KOLLAM: A woman and her son died of burns at Thevalakkara in Kollam. The two dead are Lilly (65) and her son Sony (40) of Arinalloor in Kollam. Initial reports said that it is a case of suicide. After seeing smoke emanating from the house Friday morning, the locals entered the house after breaking open the door.

The two bodies were found inside the hall. There was also a bottle of petrol nearby. The whole body was burnt. Their relatives said that they had financial liabilities. Tony is an employee of the secretariat. Fireforce from Chavara and Sasthamkota doused the flames. Thekkumbhagam police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation.
