P Jayarajan draws back from EP's response on ayurvedic resort controversy, says he is a respected leader

KANNUR: EP Jayarajan refrains from responding to the disclosure made by EP Jayarajan in the Ayurveda resort controversy. P Jayarajan said that EP is a respected leader and he was not aware of the interview given to the weekly. P Jayarajan's reaction came after LDF convener EP Jayarajan stated in a media interview that the CPM leader had leveled allegations against him. EP clarified that the matter was not raised by P Jayarajan in the state secretariat as an allegation of corruption.

P Jayarajan's position was that he does not know what EP had said in the interview given to the weekly, so he could not comment on it. At the same time, the LDF convener confirmed that P Jayarajan had made allegations against him in the Vaidekam Ayurveda resort controversy, which has not been resolved so far.

EP stated that P Jayarajan had asked the state secretariat how it was possible to help the private organization like a cooperative organization and whether it is right to give them the necessary assistance. The first reports that came out were that P Jayarajan demanded an investigation and action against EP Jayarajan for illegally acquiring wealth in the name of the Ayurvedic resort in Kannur. But CPM State Secretary MV Govindan responded that no such allegation was made by P Jayarajan and it was all a creation of the media.
