Accused jumps off moving police vehicle, dies

THRISSUR: An accused who jumped from police vehicle died. The deceased is Sanu Sony (32), a resident of Valiyathura, Thiruvananthapuram. He was arrested by the Thrissur East Police for threatening passengers with a knife while he was under the influence of drugs.

He jumped out while being taken in a police vehicle. Soni suffered injuries on his head and died while undergoing treatment at Medical College Hospital.
