Actor Unni Mukundan has requested the Kochi natives to follow precautionary measures related to the fire in the Brahmapuram waste plant. He asked the people to take necessary precautions while going out and follow the instructions of the authorities. The actor’s response was via Facebook.
His Facebook post read:
“To all people living in and around Kochi, I request you to take care of yourselves and your children! In the wake of the recent fire at the Brahmapuram waste treatment plant, follow the instructions of the authorities to take necessary precautions while going out and to take care of your loved ones. Beware of health problems associated with air pollution.”, wrote the actor.
Meanwhile, singers Sayanora and Resmi Satheesh protested against the Brahmapuram fire through a song. Both of them expressed their protest by singing the poem, “Enivaronnoru thalamurakku evide vasam sadhyamo”.
