‘I loved that actor, I was heartbroken on his wedding day’, reveals actor Meena

South Indian actor Meena is completing 40 years in the film industry. Now the actor has made certain revelations. Meena revealed that she really loved an actor in Indian cinema and the news about his wedding broke her heart.

Meena said that she loved Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. “I used to tell my mother that I want a husband like Hrithik. I was heartbroken on his wedding day. I was not married then.”, she said. Meena revealed these things in a chat show hosted by actress Suhasini on Tamil channel ‘Cine Ulagam’. Meena opened up when Suhasini shared a photo of Meena meeting Hrithik.

The actor also revealed that she was initially considered for the negative role played by Ramya Krishnan in Rajinikanth's superhit film ‘Padayappa’. But Meena said that her mother told her not to accept the role, fearing that playing a negative character while she was shining as a heroine would affect her career, so she refused the offer. But Meena stated that later she regretted the decision.
