Drove bus under influence of alcohol, manhandled colleague; five KSRTC employees suspended

KOTTAYAM: Five KSRTC employees have faced disciplinary action for driving under the influence of alcohol and manhandling a colleague. Three drivers have been suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol. The suspended drivers are CR Joshi of the Vaikom unit in Kottayam, Lijo C John of the Thodupuzha unit in Idukki and V Rajesh Kumar of Mallapally. VJ Pramod, the store issuer of the Pathanamthitta garage, has also been suspended for coming to work drunk.

Meanwhile, Thodupuzha Cluster Officer VR Suresh (Assistant Transport Officer) faced disciplinary action for allegedly assaulting assistant Jackson Devasya after a meeting at a cabin in Thodupuzha.
