‘What Swapna said is incorrect and false, should apologise publicly’; M V Govindan sends notice demanding one crore compensation

m-v-govindan-

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary M V Govindan sent a legal notice to Swapna Suresh and Vijesh Pillai on their revelation that an amount of Rs 30 crore was offered to withdraw the allegations against the chief minister. The notice of Govindan demanded a compensation of Rs one crore. The notice was sent through a lawyer from Thaliparambu in Kannur.

The allegations against the chief minister are defamatory and untrue. Neither me nor my family knows Vijesh Pillai. So, Swapna Suresh, who tried to defame me via social media, should publicly apologize through media. The notice said that if she fails to do so, will move forward with civil and criminal proceedings.
