"CM Vijayan should be arraigned in LIFE Mission case": Anil Akkara lodges complaint with CBI

THRISSUR: Former MLA Anil Akkara has filed a complaint with the CBI demanding that the chief minister be made an accused in the LIFE Mission scam case. A copy of the letter sent by the LIFE Mission CEO to the Principal Secretary of the local department was also handed over to the CBI.

Anil Akkara points out that the meeting presided over by the Chief Minister signed the memorandum of understanding for the construction of flats in Wadakkancherry. Anil Akkara said that the MoU is a violation of the FCRA Act and demanded that a case should be filed against the Chief Minister under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and for FCRA violation.
